FAQ

Before sending your catalogue

How does ETCOR work with my products?

An ETCOR group company acts as the supplier to the retailer. We contract with the chain and manage category screening, documents, EDI and delivery to its distribution centre. The products remain your property until sold. We work under an agency model, with remuneration and roles recorded in a written agreement.

What happens if the products do not sell through?

The treatment of unsold stock is agreed in writing before shipment, together with price, timing and delivery point. Products are not reserved or shipped until risk allocation is documented.

How long does it take from enquiry to shelf?

The initial review takes 3–5 working days. Time to shelf depends on the buyer’s review, document readiness, the supply route and the agreed written terms.

What is the minimum volume to start?

There is no universal minimum. The initial review covers 20–50 SKUs; the first delivery volume is set after price, stock, documents and the specific retailer’s requirements are checked.

Who owns the products during import and the first delivery?

The products remain the partner’s property until sold. Roles, remuneration and risk allocation are recorded in writing before shipment.

What happens if a retailer declines a product?

The retailer’s buyer makes the listing decision. Nothing is reserved or shipped before the terms are agreed in writing; after a decline, we may assess another suitable channel or stop the route.

Does ETCOR guarantee listing?

No. The retailer’s buyer decides after category and commercial review. ETCOR provides a transparent assessment route and executes the agreed terms.

Which categories are considered?

Home, electronics, tools, renovation, garden, sports, outdoor and other categories. The decision depends on the SKU, price, documents, stock and replenishment ability.
